On last weekend we went to the metropolis of Hamburg.
Hamburg was colorful and shining with Christmas decorations and New Year's illumination.
In Hamburg there are 17 Christmas markets this year, and we have visited the largest Christmas market in front of the Rathaus, with Santa Claus who could fly over the Christmas market. We have also visited the Winter Pride, a small Christmas market held by gay and lesbian organization Hamburg (More info: http://www.hamburg-tourism.de/veranstaltungen/advent-weihnachten/weihnachtsmaerkte/).
That is! During the Advent season are a lot of magical Christmas markets extend beyond Hamburg's city center. And in many parts of the city of Hamburg invites magic shops for a cozy meeting.
Whether to drink glühwein, eating Christmas cookies, or meet with flying Santas. You should come to Hamburg at this season to see old tradition revived.
