Make Reflection in Photoshop

Ever wonder how to make reflection for text or image like seen in every web pages nowadays? (ya know, Web 2.0 Style)

Let's we make it with photoshop. We will make for text. For Image reflection, before you do it, you have to be able to isolate this image from its own background, move it to new background and make reflection for it.

1. Open up Photoshop. Make some text, set style like you want (Gradient, size, stroke, style, etc.)
2. Duplicate this layer (with text on it). Now click on Move Tool ("V" on your keyboard) and activated "Show Transform Control". The result is your text surrounded by Transform control like shown below.

3. Put your cursor at the top of this transform border and move it down like shown below.

4. Now you have similar image like below.

Double click inside of the box and uncheck "Show transform control" to deactivate it.

5. Select "Rectangular Marquee Tool", set Feather to 10px
and draw like below.

6. Press "Delete" on your keyboard, and now you have result like you want, a text reflection ready to use for your blog.
